2008年にオーストリアから発行された、サッカーの大会である"UEFA EURO 2008"の開催記念の切手は、試合で使われた公式球（アディダス社製）と同じ材質（ポリウレタン）で作られています。裏面の剥離紙には通常の白色（TYPE-A）の他に、黄色（TYPE-B）のものもあります。また、周囲にマージンの付いたままの切手も知られています。
Austria issued a special stamp made of polyurethane in 2008. It commemorates a football chanpionship "UEFA EURO 2008" and mocks the official soccor ball provides by "adidas". There are different TYPEs of this stamp. TYPE-A is with white back-paper and TYPE-B is with yellow backpaper. Addicionally, stamps with margin are known.
